Soft Paws
- Inzii Design Studio
The homeowners are a couple who find joy in the quiet rhythm of being at home. With their two Shiba Inu as constant companions, the space naturally embraces a sense of ease and informality. For them, home doesn’t need to be complicated—just calm, comfortable, and filled with light and air.
Inspired by Japanese minimalism, the design emphasizes simplicity and function. Warm wood tones run throughout the space, while soft furnishings and natural textures create a gentle, relaxed atmosphere. The couple’s favorite hues—green and orange—are quietly tucked into cushions, artwork, and small objects, like little moments of joy embedded in the everyday.
Rather than overdesigning, we let light, materials, and rhythm do the storytelling. To give the dogs more freedom to roam, we opened up the layout and left intentional pockets of emptiness. In the dry kitchen, sunlight lands softly on brick-toned tiles, revealing subtle layers and warmth in the smallest details.
There’s no deliberate “showpiece” here—just the kind of home that invites you to slow down.
Maybe it’s the sofa, maybe it’s the light,
or maybe it’s the quiet presence of a dog dozing beside you.
