Silent Dawn

屋主是一对热爱生活的夫妻，希望在喧闹的城市中打造一个宁静、精致、带有禅意的日式美学空间。因此，在这次设计中，我们强调简约与功能性，采用干净的线条、朴实的材料和简洁的空间。 外观设计保持了原本的结构，只调整了配色，以契合整体风格。拆除篱笆门后，我们用浅灰色轻砖砌成隔离墙，既保障隐私，又成为外观的视觉焦点，呈现宁静的氛围。傍晚时，阳光洒在墙上，成了一道美丽的风景线。 客厅与饭厅是屋主常呆的空间。我们在客厅旁打造了一个小阳台，木纹地板结合盆栽植物与黑火山岩，为无景观的双层排楼增添了自然美感。饭厅旁开了一扇大玻璃窗，引入光线并种植盆栽，让绿景无处不在。 我们将玄关墙面拆除，并去掉楼梯扶手，目的是在18’x65’的双层排楼中创造更多空间感。通过精心挑选的材料与家具，提升了空间的质感。无论是沙发的布纹、厨房的石材台面，还是餐桌的木质纹理，都与自然光和植物形成了和谐的禅意。 灯光设计也是重点之一。入夜后，不同层次的灯光交织，配合音乐，营造出放松的氛围，适合独处，也适合聚会。 整个设计以深色木纹为主线，搭配米白色墙面，呈现出极简的精致感。通过引入自然元素及其时间痕迹，我们希望为屋主创造一个宁静，低调，朴实的都市避世空间。 The homeowners are a newlywed couple who wish to create a tranquil, refined space with a hint of Zen-inspired Japanese aesthetics amidst the bustling city. Therefore, in this design, we emphasize simplicity and functionality, utilizing clean lines, honest materials, and uncluttered spaces. The exterior design retains the original structure, with only adjustments to the color scheme to fit the overall style. After removing the fence gate, we built a light gray brick wall to protect privacy while also serving as the focal point of the exterior, evoking a serene atmosphere. In the evenings, sunlight casting onto the wall becomes a beautiful scene. The living and dining rooms are the most frequented spaces for the homeowners. We created a small balcony next to the living room, using wood flooring, potted plants, and black volcanic rocks to add a natural aesthetic to the double-storey house, which originally lacked any view. A large glass window was installed next to the dining room to bring in more light, with potted plants on both sides to create a continuous greenery experience. We removed the entrance wall and the staircase railing to create a greater sense of space in the 18’x65’ double-storey house. By carefully selecting materials and furniture, we enhanced the ambiance of the interior. Whether it’s the textured fabric of the sofa, the clean stone surface of the kitchen countertop, or the rustic wood grain of the dining table, everything harmonizes with the plants and natural light, creating a touch of Zen. Lighting design is another key element. At night, the interplay of different layers of lighting, along with music, creates a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for both solitude and gatherings. The entire design features dark wood as the main material, paired with crisp white walls, resulting in a minimalist yet refined aesthetic. By incorporating natural elements and their inevitable patina, we aim to provide the homeowners with a tranquil, understated, and authentic urban retreat.
