A store shaped by light, fabric, and the view beyond.
Β
At Heythreads Crest Austin, the store was designed to embrace its surroundings. Facing the lake and park, the interior opens fully to the landscape with frameless glass, allowing nature to become part of the shopping experience and part of the memory of the visit.
Β
Fabric curtains are used to gently divide areas, creating a soft rhythm throughout the space. Through their light layers, the view outside appears and disappears, like a slowly unfolding scene. Stainless steel defines the counter and garment displays with clean precision, balancing the softness of the fabric and highlighting the textures of the clothing itself.
Β
The reception wall is finished in a warm, earth-toned surface that sets a grounded backdrop for the store. In front, a display counter is clad in Sukabumi tilesβits distinct green tone forming a subtle dialogue with the wall and giving the space a unique point of recognition. Overhead, diffused lighting brings focus to the pieces displayed, allowing details to be seen with clarity.

We approached the Heythreads space with a different handβusing materials, contrasts, and the connection between inside and outside to create a distinct atmosphere. Here, garments and architecture complement one another, offering visitors a sense of ease and presence.
